We fell on this guy which was giving some food (mostly fruits) to the passers-by in the street. Can't stay to talk him a lot, but if i understand well what he says to me (my english really have to be improved), the fødevareBanken recover food that would normally go to the trash from supermarkets and redistribute it to people for free. It is more than saluable initiative, even if it should normaly be like this everywhere and not otherwise.
I just wonder how they can pay the people who collect and redistribute food if everything is free, but there must be an explanation.
