I continue with the discourse on the bikes of the previous photo here.
Again, as a french guy, it's surprising to note that few people attach their bikes in Copenhagen!
Last night i watched a documentary about traveling which the author after being aggressed in Bolivia spoke of the difference in attitudes across the different countries and noted that there's a difference between latin countries, anglo-saxon countries, arabic countries, etc.. And latin countries (which includes France) would be those where there is more thieves, aggressions, etc.. I have not traveled enough to allow me to give my opinion on that, but in France, i never seen anyone leaving his house with the door voluntarily opened, and in the city, it's unreasonable to leave your bike not attached, even 5 minutes to buy some bread ... It will be more allowed in the campaign. Of course it does not mean that if you leave your bike in the street like that, it will be stolen in the next 2 minutes, but if it happens no one will be surprised. So sad...
