Back from a short trip in Copenhagen (Denmark). This city is really beautiful and there is a calm, soothing and pleasant mood.
When you walk in the streets of Copenhagen, it's surprising (at least for a french guy) to note the number of bikes compared to the number of cars on the road !
The fact that the city is flat helps a lot, but i think there's also a question of mentality behind, Denmark is considered green. That said, someone told me that the reason was financial, as well as the average annual salary in Denmark is one of the highest in Europe, cars would be taxed just to drastically discourage people to use if they can do without. I'm really curious to listen the opinion from someone which live there but unfortunately i didn't chat with a lot of danish people and did'nt keep any contact. If you live in Denmark, please take the time to write me about it !! :-)

OK, that said, i just wanted to introduce the next serie of photos from this trip, note that this photograph is not the better one to illustrate the dominance of bicycles on motor vehicles ! :D
